PPA267 - A Color Challenge

It's still very hot in Southern California, but I made a wintry card this weekend.

The color palette is from the Pals Paper Arts challenge

I often have a hard time capturing in the pictures the real colors of the cardstock - especially Pool Party. If you know any solution to this, could you please leave a comment and tell me how to fix this problem? I would really appreciate it!

I used white felt for the sentiment to give the card warmth, and coated Crystal Effects over the small circles to give them a shine.

Paper: Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Tangeline Tango
Ink: StazeOn (white)
Accessories: Woodland Textured Impressions EF, Oval Collection Framelits, Greetings Thinlits, Owl Builder Punch (circles), Die-namics Centerpieces Framed Lovebirds, Stamping Sponges, Crystal Effects, Felt (white), Dimentionals

  1. Yes, it's been crazy hot in So. Cal! I'm in San Diego. But your card is so "cool"! The red accents are darling! Thanks so much for joining us this week at Pals Paper Arts!

    1. Hello Peggy - I live in North Hollywood, so the air conditioner at my place was ON 24/7 last week. Thanks so much for your sweet comment!

  2. Such a fun take on the Challenge. The "window" adds a nice touch and the pop of color from the birds is perfect! Yhanks for playing with the PPA this week.
