CAS Watercolour June Challenge - have a fintastic birthday!

I made a birthday card for a friend of mine. When I saw the CAS Watercolour Challenge earlier this month, I thought the ocean theme was perfect for the card for her.

She loves cute characters, so my card for today is on the cute side. 😊

I sponged Distress Oxide inks (Broken China & Faded Jeans) on a piece of watercolor paper and blended a little of Chipped Sapphire to add a purple hue. Then I spattered some water over the paper.  The fish was heat-embossed in white. The die-cut stitched white frame was layered over the ocean piece.

I didn't have a perfect sentiment stamp for this card, so I created my own using a computer (font: Cooper Black) and printed it on the card base.
The little fish on the card base was heat-embossed in silver pearl. I popped up the jelly fish with foam squares as a fun finishing touch.

Thanks for dropping by today!
