CAS Christmas Card July Challenge - merry christmas

Today I'm posting a reminder card for the CAS Christmas July Challenge
Loll is hosting the challenge and the theme is Poinsettia. The challenge is open until July 24th so you have one more week to play along.

Here's my card:

I made a red poinsettia card earlier this month, so I changed gears this time.
I heat-embossed the poinsettia and leaves in white and die-cut them. I watercolored them with Zig markers, and added some silver glitter glue in the center of the flower.
I also heat-embossed a few images in white on the card base to add some interest to the background.
The colored poinsettia and the heat-embossed sentiment strip were popped up with foam tape.

I hope you'll check out the challenge blog to see the reminder cards made by our wonderful Guest Designer, Marina, and our talented Designers. Please come and play along!

  1. Oh my..Hideko, Gorgeous heat embossed background poinsettias and main poinsettia that you heat embossed, die cut and watercolored. I love how you softened your Zigs colors to make such a pretty light blue color poinsettia and pretty light green leaves. TFS your beauty, my friend. Hugs..
