CAS(E) this Sketch #223, CAS431 - Happy Birthday

Sometimes, you re-make a card a couple of times until you like it. Today was one of those days - I redid this card 3 times. Whew! 😅

My card design is roughly based on this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #223.

It doesn't show well in the pictures, but I brushed Wink of Stella over the sponge of the cake, and added Nuvo glitter to the whipped cream part.

This week's Paper Players' challenge is Clean and Simple: Butterflies.

I wanted to enhance the beauty of the butterfly, so I made it very simple.

CAS(E) this Sketch #222 - I'm so grateful

I'm back from vacation, and very excited to do papercrafting again! 😄

My card design is inspired by this week's CAS(E) this Sketch (#222). I liked the sketch so much that I kept the original layout.

I was not sure what color I should use for the sentiment - silver, platinum, mint green, or black. I wanted to give a soothing, summery feeling to the card, so I decided to go with silver.
