PPA276: A Sketch Challenge

I wanted to make a simple holiday card this weekend using items I haven't used before.
I fell in love with this stocking image of a letterpress plate, and bought one on ebay some years ago, but I have never used it. It's a retired product, and I was not even sure how to use it, so I had to google it! I also bought the holiday washi tape a few months ago, but I haven't used it. Luckily, the pattern of the washi tape matched that of the stockings.
My card is roughly based on the Pals Paper Arts' sketch challenge.
Paper: Watercolor Paper
Ink: Metallic Encore Pad (champagne), Uni-ball Signo Jel Pen (gold)
Accessories: Letterpress Plate Joyful Season, Winter Wonderland Designer Washi Tape

Thanks for visiting!

    1. Ha ha ha... you're way ahead of me (in terms of not having used it) !
It was a bit difficult to use the plate (I smeared ink a few times), but I think I'll try again with different colors. Thank you for your kind comment, Katy!
