PP283: A Clean-and-Simple Challenge

The theme of the challenge from Joanne is "up, up and away".

I heat-embossed the image and the sentiment on a piece of vellum, and attached it loosely to the striped base panel. That way the stripes aren't obtrusive and yet makes the plain background a little interesting.

Finally I connected the hot-air balloon and the sentiment with silver string.

Stamp: Up, Up & Away
Paper: Vellum, DSP Subtles (Bashful Blue), Whisper White
Ink: VersaMark
Accessories: Embossing Powder (White), Metallic Thread (Silver), Sequins, Mini Glue Dots

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thank you so much, Linda! I'm glad you like the card. The pictures are a little too over-exposed...;-P

  2. What a beautifully soft card - great use of the vellum to soften the background and allow your white embossing to really pop. Thanks for joining my CAS 'Up, Up and Away' challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
