I made this card for a co-worker's birthday. We don't always want to be reminded of the age we're turning, so I didn't put a specific number on the card.
I pasted a sheet of vellum behind the sentiment to mute the number pattern so that "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" stands out.
WOWZA! This is one awesome die...and how cool that you added the numbered DSP behind it! I love this....I think I might need this die myself! Thanks for playing with the Players this week!
A great way to include numbers without being age-specific and such a fun birthday die too! Thanks for joining in with my number challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
Hello! I'm Hideko Lagan. (My first name is pronounced as "Hee-deh-ko".)
I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan, and my husband and I moved to the States in 2008.
I started papercrafting in June, 2012, and I enjoy it on weekends. I used to love origami when I was a child, so the paper-crafting seeds were already in me at that time!
What a great way to celebrate but not highlight the age! Love this paper and love this die--great card! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
