PP279: A Sketch Challenge

When I saw The Paper Players' sketch challenge this week, I thought this was a perfect opportunity to use the stamps I bought recently - YOU=AWESOME, ME=GRATEFUL.

Here's my take:

The font style is playful instead of elegant, so I made the card look rural by sponging the rim of the panel, and using burlap ribbon, flowers & leaves.

Stamp: Me = Grateful, Botanical Blooms
Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Strawberry Slush, Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery, Soft Suede
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral
Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon, Tiny Wave Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade, Mini Glue Dots, Pearl Basic Jewels, Stamping sponges, Dimentionals

  1. I just love this set! The burlap is such a nice element on your card! Such a lovely sentiment, too! SO happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week! XX

    1. Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Claire!

  2. What an interesting way to cut your sentiment banners - it definitely adds interest to your card. Love those colourful blooms too. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!

    1. Thanks so much, Joanne! I cut the banners straight at first, but the clean straight lines didn't go well with the other elements, so I used the leaf dies and tiny wavy cutting blade.
