I made a card for the Paper Players sketch challenge.
The sketch (#288) was designed by LeAnne.
I've settled on these soft blue/green colors for the panels after trying out a few different shades of the colors.
I was tempted to add some bling to the card, but I decided not to this time
- just to keep it clean and simple.
Paper: Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Certainly Celery, Soft Sky
Accessories: Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, Stitched Rectangular STAX (mft), Fancy Words Dies (rc)
Thanks for visiting me today!
What a very elegant card - I love your calming blues and greens and the clever way you used the leaves to represent the circle and banner elements on your card. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words, Joanne! I wanted to use the botanical builder dies in a springy/summery way.
DeleteLooooooove these colors..so very soft & serene! A beauty of a card! Thanks for playing with my sketch, always nice to see you in the gallery!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your sweet comment, as always, LeAnne! I'm glad you liked these colors, and I enjoyed playing with your sketch!
DeleteBeautiful spring colors! So soft and pretty! And I love that die cut hello! Glad you joined us at the Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind comment, Linda! I actually coated Glossy Accents over the die cut hello at first, but it looked a little yellowish with the coating, so I decided to go without it.
DeleteLovely colour combination on this card.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lisa!
