CAS Watercolour Card Challenge - Joy Ride

I don't have much experience with watercolor, but I want to learn it. I love CAS cards, so I thought this challenge was a great way to get used to watercoloring.



This month's theme is summer, and I made an ocean/wave card. I'm not a surfer, but I like the sentiment - every day can be a JOY RIDE.


Splattering perfect pearls mixed with water worked well.




Stamp: Rev Up the Fun (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Watercolor paper (140 lb - Strathmore), Shimmery White (Stampin' Up!)
Ink: Distress Ink (Ranger - Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass), Memento (Tsukineko - Tuxedo Black)
Accessories: Die-namics Making Waves (My Favorite Things), Perfect Pearls Pigment Powders (Ranger - Perfect Pearl), Foam Tape (3M)

    LOVE the colours of your ocean waves, Hideko. The perfect pearls splattering adds such wonderful sparkle and texture and looks like spray from the waves. Your sentiment is fun! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
