Here's my Winter card:
[How I made the card]
1. Watercoloured the paper with the Dark Pink and Orange paints to make a background.
2. White heat-embossed the sentiment on the background.
3. Die-cut the oval window from the white front panel and pasted it on the background.
4. Punched out the mittens from a piece of white cardstock and pasted them on the felt. Fussy-cut the felt mittens. (*1)
5. Colored the white snowflake sequins with light blue and pasted them on the mittens. Also adhered the tiny clear sequins to the mittens.
6. Arranged the position of the mittens first and then attached the silver thread on the card front with glue dots.
7. Glued the mittens onto the card front.
*1: I wanted to use felt mittens for the card. I had a mitten punch, but not mitten dies. I knew that the punch wouldn't cut felt cleanly, so that's why I glued the punched out mitten-shape paper on the felt and fussy-cut the felt along the outline of the mitten. I'm glad that the shape was simple enough to fussy-cut it! :-)
The challenge is open until January 24th.
Thanks for visiting me today!
