Congratulations, Bonnie and Loll! Thank you so much for all you do and your continuing inspiration. I am so honored to be on your fabulous Design Team.
I hope you'll join the celebration. We have some prizes - check out the challenge blog for more details.
On to this month's challenge...
If you love shiny stuff, you'll be thrilled to join this month's challenge. The theme is Faux Stained Glass, hosted by our very talented Designer, Joanna.
Our wonderful Guest Designer for March is Gundi.
Here's my card:
Using Faux Stained Glass Technique, Die-cutting, Heat-embossing, and Stamping
[How I made the card]
1. Die-cut the stitched frame and pasted on to the card front.
2. Die-cut the tulip and the bud from white card stock 3 times with Stick It Adhesive Sheet on the back of the card stock.
3. Adhered the first layer to the card front and colored the flowers with Zig markers. Added the white pigment ink to the tip of the flowers.
4. Layered the rest of the white die-cuts and poured the Crystal Glaze generously. (It gets flattened when it dries.)
5. Waited for the Glaze to dry and layered a silver glitter die-cut on top.
6. Stamped the sentiment with the black pigment ink and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder for shine.
I like how the Faux Stained Glass effect turned out! It makes you feel like touching the smooth and shiny surface, doesn't it? 😊
The challenge is open until March 24th.
Check out the challenge blog for more inspiration and join the fun celebration!
