Today's card is for the CAS Christmas July reminder, hosted by our talented Marcia.
I bought a set of Nativity die cut-outs at an etsy shop and used the 3 wise men for my launch card, so this time I used this.
[How I made the card]
1. Stenciled the Nativity scene with Distress Oxide Inks using a die cut-out as the stencil.
2. Masked the scene and used a "Warp Speed" stencil for the glowing rays around the holy family. To intensify the contrast, sponged yellow immediately around the die cut-out.
3. Die-cut the front panel.
4. Heat-embossed the sentiment.
5. Glued the front panel on to the silver foil matte card base.
Please check out the challenge blog for more inspiration and play along with us!
The link is open through July 24th.
