CAS Christmas May Challenge - joy

Hi everyone,

It's time for a reminder card for Christine's Foliage and Berries challenge for CAS Christmas.

I received die-cuts of a wreath and a sentiment from a sweet friend, and they were perfect for this month's challenge!

Here's my card:

[How I made the card]

1. Watercolored the wreath and the sentiment, Joy.

2. Die-cut a circle 4 times, stacked up the pieces, and glued the wreath and the sentiment onto the stacked circles for dimension.

3. Hot foiled the frame on a white front panel.

4. Embossed a brick pattern on a piece of white card stock and glued it inside the foiled frame.

5. Attached the wreath to the embossed panel.

6. Glued the whole front panel to the card base.

7. Brushed Wink of Stella over the wreath and the sentiment to add a little sparkle to them.

You have until May 24th. Looking forward to seeing your card in the gallery

Thanks for visiting me today.

  4. Simply beautiful CAS design and love your watercolored die cut wreath and sentiment. Adding your dry embossed brick background and narrow die cut frames really pulled all your design together, my friend. Your foiling is so beautiful too. Gorgeous mixed media designs and TFS all your steps, Hideko. Love and Hugs...Nancy

  14. Wow! This is gorgeous, Hideko. Beautiful watercoloring. Amazing dimension and texture. Love the embossed brick wall and the foiled frame. This may push me to bite the shipping cost to Canada bullet, and actually buy the foiling machine!
