Hi everyone,
Welcome to the start of the CAS Christmas August Challenge!
Cathy (Cathy's Card Spot) is our host this month, and she chose "Decorations" as the theme. We are happy to have Lucie (LucieG Cards) as Guest Designer for this month. Welcome, Lucie!
Here's my card:
[How I made the card]
1. Made a piece of metallic tissue paper. Loll made and shared with us a wonderful tutorial video, so I watched it.
2. Foiled the silver sentiment frame on a piece of white cardstock.
3. Die-cut a bauble (window) in the foiled front panel.
4. Attached a piece of acetate to the window, and glued the metallic tissue paper to the back of the front panel.
5. Die-cut the hanger from silver foil paper and glued it on to the bauble.
6. Added a rhinestone to the hanger.
The link on the challenge site is open until August 24th. I hope you play along with us and add a Christmas card to your stash.

ReplyDeleteHideko, I will be watching that video [thanks for sharing the link] because the results you achieved are really gorgeous! What a stunning ornament! Using the acetate was the perfect idea for creating a glass ornament! And from keeping fingers from touching the tissue - which is exactly what I would want to do!
