CAS Christmas August Challenge - merry christmas

Hi everyone,

It's time for a reminder for CAS Christmas Challenge

Here's my card:

[How I made the card]

1. Die-cut the decorations and the pine bows from watercolor paper.

2. Watercolored the die-cuts.

3. Glued glitter paper to the back of the decorations.

4. Die-cut the window from the front pane and heat-embossed the sentiment (*1).

5. Inked light blue with a blending brush on the card base and glued the pine bows and decorations on the base.

6. Drew strings with a white gel pen.

7. Popped up the front panel on the card base with foam tape.

(*1) Stamped the sentiment with Distress Oxide Ink and heat-embossed it with clear glitter embossing powder to give the sentiment sparkle.

I hope you'll check out our challenge blog for more inspiration, and share your card with us here. Our challenge link closes on August 24th.

  2. This hanging ornaments scene is so cute, Hideko. I especially love that little gingerbread man. Beautiful watercoloring. Backing the decorations with glitter paper was brilliant to add sparkle. Love the hemstitch frame (which are still on my wish list).
